When reporting an issue, include the SourceCanvas version, platform, renderer, and visible error code. Remove sensitive source and paths before sending diagnostics.

Documents and preview
Open .svg, .mmd, .mermaid, .dot, .gv, .puml, .plantuml, .iuml, or .pu. On Mac, drag these formats from Finder; .dot remains Graphviz source even when another app owns the extension. Automatic usually detects the renderer.
For render failures, check line/column diagnostics and try Fit Screen. PlantUML include/import directives and external images never load; SVG remote resources require explicit permission.
Export
SourceCanvas exports final SVG, vector PDF, and PNG 1x/2x/3x to a destination you choose. Blocked, failed, or timed-out SVG resources prevent an incomplete export.
Configure MCP Agent (macOS only)
Open Settings > MCP & Agent, enable Agent Service, run Connection Diagnostic, then choose Configure Installed Agents. ChatGPT/Codex, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Visual Studio Code, Gemini CLI, and Qwen Code are supported.
The first setup may show a system folder picker. Select the requested client configuration folder; later configuration is normally one click. Restart or reload the client, then check for seven SourceCanvas tools.
